Insanity

I walked

      from Texas to California

A long and tedious walk

      men said I was insane

      for doing the impossible

But

      I enjoyed the sunshine

      and the beating sun

So much more

      than the dryness in my throat

      when the world

      forces me to swallow

      my own ideas
